Our residential solid waste management services prioritize efficiency, environmental responsibility, and community well-being. We understand the importance of keeping neighborhoods clean and safe, which is why we offer comprehensive waste collection, recycling, and disposal solutions tailored to the community’s unique needs. Our services allow residents to trust that their waste is managed effectively, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future.

We also offer Drop Site Recycling during the hours of Monday through Friday from 8 AM-4:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM-12 PM (Please note, Saturday hours do not include warehouse operations.)

We accept the following items in our recycling bins:

– Plastics 1-7 (With the exception of: Styrofoam, Plastic Bags, Automotive fluid containers, and Salt/Topsoil bags)

– Cardboard (Boxes must be flattened and tape removed)

– Paper (Shredded paper can be in a paper bag)

-Aluminum/Steel tin

-Food Grade Glass (Must be rinsed out)

All recycling must be placed loose in the bins and must be clean. 

We do not accept any plastic bags (grocery bags, sandwich bags, trash bags, etc.)

We do not accept trash (Examples: Textiles, food wrappers, vinyl siding, construction debris, furniture items, roofing shingles, pvc piping, etc.)

We accept the following items during regular business days as well as at the annual spring clean up days.

Used sharps and Lancets must be in a rigid (hard) plastic container with a sealed lid. Lid must be secured with tape as well. Approved sharps containers are available at the District office. Free

The Wabash County Solid Waste Management District reserves the right to refuse any materials or load for any reason. Residents may bring additional materials that will be subject to our customary fees.
