Hassle-Free Item Drop-Off at Our Warehouse

We accept all items through our warehouse during regular business days as well as at the annual spring clean-up days. Stop in the front office to sign in your information, then you will be directed to back up to our warehouse as our staff unloads your items for you!

The Wabash County Solid Waste Management District reserves the right to refuse any materials or load for any reason. Residents may bring additional materials that will be subject to our customary fees.

What material does the District accept from Wabash County Residents?

  •  (Lead acid, Lithium, Lithium Ion, Buttons, Rechargeable, Automotive)
  • Freon containing (Refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, water coolers, air conditioners, water dispensers) as well as non-Freon containing (Ovens, stoves, dishwashers, clothes washers/dryers, microwaves)
  • Passenger and light truck tires (Tires on rims count as two tires)
  • 12 PASSENGER TIRES FREE per year, per household (Only passenger tires OFF rim)
  • Ag, commercial and implement tires (Some are received for free; others may have a fee. Call for details.)
  • Flammables (fuels, lubricants, adhesives, alcohols, oil-based products, etc.),
  • Poisons (pesticides, fertilizers, cleaners, antifreeze, etc.)
  • Corrosives (ammonia, drain cleaners, lye, window cleaners, pool chemicals, etc.)
  • (Fluorescent lamps of all styles, including compact fluorescent, U-tubes, circulars, UV lamps, HIDs)
  • Thermometers, thermostats, and other mercury switches. (Call for limits and pricing)
  • Residential ballasts, transformers, capacitors
  • Computers (components, parts and peripheral devices), office machines (copiers, phone systems, POS systems, answering machines, network equipment), printer/copier cartridges, televisions, media (floppies, CD/DVDs, tapes), cell phones, tablets, e-readers, etc. (Anything that plugs in or runs on a battery!) Other Electronics and Small Household electrical items such as Fans, Toasters, Vacuums, Coffee Makers, etc.
  • 4 CRT TVs FREE (A fee will be charged for TVs that have been torn apart or scrapped. Call District for details.)
